SHEE™ Fireside Chat
A Remarkable Success for Networking, Connecting, and Earning Recognition
We are excited to share the highlights and success of the recent SHEE™ Fireside Chat event, which brought together a diverse and dynamic group of Black women entrepreneurs, professionals, and allies. This event, held on November 1, 2023, proved to be an incredible opportunity for networking, meeting like-minded individuals, and earning well-deserved recognition for our collective efforts.
Networking, Collaboration, and Community Building:
The SHEE™ Fireside Chat event was a vibrant and inspiring gathering of women from all walks of life who share a common goal – advancing Black women in business. Participants had the chance to connect with one another, share their stories, and build valuable relationships. The event provided a platform for attendees to exchange ideas, explore potential collaborations, and offer support and guidance to one another.
The Fireside Chat featured engaging panel discussions, workshops, and inspirational talks that addressed a wide range of topics, from business growth strategies to personal development and leadership. The speakers shared their experiences, challenges, and triumphs, inspiring attendees to persevere in their entrepreneurial journeys.
Recognition and the SHEE™ Citation:
One of the standout moments of the event was when the U.S. Coalition of Black Women Businesses was presented with the prestigious SHEE™ Citation. This award, honoring excellence and dedication to supporting Black women in business, recognized our organization’s unwavering commitment to fostering an inclusive and empowering community. The SHEE™ Citation not only celebrates our past achievements but also encourages us to continue our vital work in advocating for the growth and success of Black women entrepreneurs.
The highlight of the event was undoubtedly the opportunity to listen to our inspirational keynote speaker Vera Moore, a trailblazer and an inspiration to us all. Vera shared her remarkable journey, the challenges she overcame, and the insights she gained throughout her career. Her words resonated with the audience, inspiring attendees to persevere in their entrepreneurial journeys and to aim high in their aspirations
