Friends and Colleagues,

I am thrilled to extend an invitation to you for a significant milestone event in which Medgar Evers College has taken an active part—the in the past at the very first UNDP Africa & HBCU Summit. As Dean of the School of Business at Medgar Evers College, City University of New York, I see this event this year as a remarkable opportunity to explore, learn, and connect with esteemed professionals and institutions across the globe.

This Summit serves as a platform to discuss and drive forward matters of utmost importance, including the geo-political and socio-economic significance of the African Union’s “Sixth Region”. As part of this initiative, representatives from various esteemed organizations such as the UNDP Regional Bureau for Africa, the South African Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, and the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) will be present.
