U.S. Coalition of Black Women emerged out of a pursuit to inspire and support the community, along with a desire for action to speak louder than words.
Under Deidre Helberg’s visionary leadership, Helberg Electrical Supply LLC has grown from an East-coast-centered firm into a leading national provider of technology-based electrical solutions, with project capability across the US. During her time as President of Helberg Electrical Supply, Deidre has won city, state, and federal contracts throughout the country, added power generation, smart grid products and services, while conserving natural resources through Helberg Electrical Supply’s renewable energy (solar and wind) products and enhanced the firm’s product and service offerings. Ms. Helberg founded Helberg Electrical Supply in May 2003. President and Chief Executive Officer of Helberg Electrical Supply LLC (HES), she leads the firm’s development and implementation of long-range programs and policies. Today, HES carries a full array of energy smart grid solutions which include power generation, power distribution, LED lighting, fixtures, and renewables. Over the course of her career, Deidre has received numerous honors and awards. She also serves as the Founder and President of the U.S. Coalition of Black Women Businesses Inc.
Anita D Russell is committed to doing BIG things-building
community, inspiring change, and giving back. She is the Founder/CEO of The
Place to SOAR, a social enterprise dedicated to cultivating change, disrupting
limiting beliefs, and empowering deep self-knowledge to unleash human
potential. She utilizes appreciative coaching with a strength-based approach
and specializes in Activism through Coaching by creating a space for courage,
conversation, relationship, and personal accountability for the purpose of
antiracism activation. She is also the visionary behind InflexionPoint Podcast,
created to normalize speaking truth to empower personal transformation and
social change. Anita’s life and career spans multiple disciplines, including
pharmaceutical R&D, learning and development, equity, diversity and
inclusion, and community service. She is an independent author with multiple
bestsellers to her credit.
Anita is a member of the On Call Faculty for the Center for
Creative Leadership. She is a Global Business Connector for Women Speakers
Association. She also serves as a Regional VP of the U.S. Coalition of Black
Women Businesses; VP of Media Relations for the Dr. Edna B. McKenzie Branch of
the Association for the Study of African American Life and History (ASALH); and
is a board member of OMA Pittsburgh Center for Mind, Body, and Spirit.
